i got this error. it seems like there is a probleme with my object absence below, even so their should no reason for it to

@Entity public class Absence {

@Id
@GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.IDENTITY)
private Integer id;
@OneToMany(mappedBy="Absence", cascade = CascadeType.ALL)
public Set<Vacation> vacations;

}

and, if it might help here is my object Vacation that i want to link to the absence object

@Entity
public class Vacation {

  @Id
  @GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.IDENTITY)
  private int id;
  //private int userId;
  private Date startVacation;
  private Date endVacation;

  @ManyToOne
  private Absence absence;

  @ManyToOne
  private User user;
}

i already give right to my user to access the table/create it and searched for probleme with dependencies, but neither of this seem to be the issue

You should replace:

@OneToMany(mappedBy= "Absence", cascade = CascadeType.ALL)
   public Set<Vacation> vacations;

with :

@OneToMany(mappedBy= "absence", cascade = CascadeType.ALL)
   public Set<Vacation> vacations;

mappedBy should be the name of the field from Vacation.java, in your case:

@Entity
public class Vacation {
    //...
    private Absence absence;

well, i feel kinda ashamed of it, but the answer was that i did make a typo when giving right, both time, but thanks for your help guys
